Calm TF Down Nutrition Approach
CalmTFDown’s nutrition and cooking presentations, classes, and workshops break down key concepts in human physiology and cooking into digestible, bite-sized pieces. Through thought-provoking discussions and actionable takeaways, they help attendees build stronger connections between food and body.
For context, I also explore the history of the food and wellness industries. We’ll often examine how culture, marketing, and systemic factors shape our perceptions of health and nutrition.
Corresponding handouts (digital or physical) can be made available for attendees upon request.
These presentations and workshops are created through the lenses of trauma-informed, gender-affirming, culturally-inclusive, and weight-inclusive nutrition practice philosophies. They are not intended to diagnose or treat existing medical conditions.
